If you recall to one of my interventions, I created a poster stating “Covid-19 is serious” But when you flip the paper it says, “But Black lives matters too”. Through that poster I wanted to bring attention to the important concerns our society has. We are so caught up in our pandemic that some of us just forget that there are other serious concerns too. One of those concerns that needs more attention brought too is BLM (Black lives Matter). I Continued on by creating a twitter page which was inspired by Kimberly Drew and other activists. Kimberly highlights the talents of African Americans and reposts it on her tumbler. However, Zaid Ahmed, a 21-year-old, took the idea and has created his blog focused on teaching our generation the younger adults /teens who are also known as “Gen Z” about this issue. Both these people have created their own tumbler or blog to bring awareness to people of color. This really grasped my attention because a blog went from bringing awareness to something, to someone taking that idea and focused on the young generation as a cohort to educate them about what is going on, as for the young is soon to be our future leaders. Kimberly Drew once stated in an interview “Capitalism and white supremacy reinforce the idea that health is a personal responsibility, which means that if you aren’t “healthy” then you’ve done something wrong.” The way she stated that was so beautifully spoken, because she chooses to attack those who think people are only harmed because of their own doing. Black people are being targeted by some racist officers who are willing to do them harm, without a probable cause. However, the harm has gone so far that people are dying because of this discrimination. People are now scared to be in contact with any person with a federal badge with a gun. Since that seems to be their go-to for any problem. Sometimes those who intend harm do not need an excuse, they will just create them. Which is why I am creating my twitter page signifying all our fallen loved ones due to police brutality. Unfortunately, most of them were misunderstandings or responded with a gun to quickly before investigating, or even plain out murderous intensions. After Creating and posting those posts, I was then dazzled by the Guerrilla girls who formally are a group of females hiding behind guerrilla masks exposing the wrongful doings of those corrupt in charge. They once said “You can’t be a revolutionary today without a television set – it’s as important as a gun! Every guerilla must know how to use the terrain of culture that he is trying to destroy!.” Then it clicked.... their right! I Created a video project to helping me combine all these people's ideas. I created a video interacting with teenagers I ran into and asked them two simple questions. Even though this is not as big of a project like Patrisse Cullors creating the Black Lives Matter hashtag. Which is now trending and thanks to her the hashtag has even made its way to shirts, commercials, and big-name brands. Just like her, I wanted this video and the questions asked to really see what our generation thinks of our society. We can teach our teens, but what good is it when our teens have been too distracted or oblivious to these problems. Like the guerilla girls stated, “make art for the rest of us.” So, I intended in my video to expose what teenagers think of what is going through their minds two questions? The questions are 1. “What do you think is the most significant problem we face as a society? And why.” This was to acknowledge what our young generation may have been exposed to through friends, family or even the internet as the biggest problem. Followed by the second question, 2. "Do you think BLM movement has changed our day to day and why? This also exposes the teens to really tell us what they know about the situation. Like the ‘BYP 100’ who created a pledge to its followers to pledge to do right by people of color and created a website that refers to multiple issues concerning to Black Lives Matter, I wanted to create a page that introduces, educates, and interacts with its followers. The responses I received after interviewing teens for my video were very random only 1 out of 5 people recognized that one of our biggest issue is discrimination while others talked about unemployment, global warming, education, and vaccines. Having said, this project is not just a project that I done for class, but it was a self-educating project, I got to investigate diverse ways people made a name for themselves by helping their cause. I feel like this could potentially have provided me with the skills and understandings of what I would need to do as a businessperson and an activist to really broadcast the importance of my concerns through my efforts.

Keep in mind I had to split the video into two
