THE DIFFERENCE
I have created all these memes to show the importance of meaning behind pictures. Pictures, help us connect with something we went through or something we crave to do. As stated, "One may remember or forget these messages but briefly one takes them in, and for a moment they stimulate the imagination by way of either memory or expectation." in (Photographs). However, Pictures are meaningless if the viewer cannot access the emotional side of the picture. For example, if I just added any of these pictures with no captions which are giving them life that can attract the viewers sensitive side, than it would just cause confusion.
However, the meme topic that I adore are the inspirational kind. Therefor, I created 3 memes inspiring the viewer/reader to step up, and at least try to make a difference. I think this is an important subject because nor pictures or words alone can inspire someone but its the emotion someone gains from the connection they make from these pictures. Meanwhile, I feel like this is a good contribute to the acknowledgement of what intervention is all about. Like in the reading (ways of seeing) "The purpose of publicity is to make the spectator marginally dissatisfied with his present way of life". This connects to my idea because intervention to me means to process of "progress or to make change to the better, I feel like inspiring/motivating people through these memes can really help them put a foot down and stand up in accomplishing their dreams.
